If you post your answers, I'll send this to our Spanish expert, SraJMcGin.
I don't know where to begin and I have tried to change the endings of the words and it still comes up wrong
Again, without seeing YOUR answers, we may never know WHERE you have difficulty. Here is #1. The city is going to be more and more contaminated unless we take drastic measures. (freely translated)
La ciudad va a estar cada vez más contaminada, a menos que nosotros tomemos medidas drásticas.
If you follow the model, you will note that the independent clause uses the Present Indicative (indicates FACT), followed by a conjunction requiring the Subjunctive (may or may not happen = "ify" so to speak)
I used to suggest that my students memorize SCAMP to identify these conjunctions: S = sin que / C = con tal (de) que / A = antes (de) que / M = a menos que and P = para que. Anytime you see any of those SCAMP words, you will know to use the Subjunctive.
Now YOU try the rest.
