**Ms. Sue**, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 8:17pmYour answer is not right.

First, change 1 1/3 to an improper fraction.

1 1/3 = 4/3

Then multiply the numerators together and the denominators together.

4/3 * 1/4 = 4/12

Simplifying --

4/12 = 1/3
