**brook**, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 12:03pmThis is easy, now you need to do the opposite of what you did when you multiplied the whole number by the denominator to get the fraction 45/8... therefore divide 91 (numerator) by 8 (denominator) to get 11 (8 x 11 = 88) how ever many you have left over is left as a fraction n/8... so: 91 divided by 8 = 11 so that leaves us with 3 remaining because 91-88 = 3 just simply make that the fraction left over: 3/8. Final answer is 11 3/8. Make sense?
