I left out the following sentences. Thank you, Writeacher.

1) I miss seeing my favourite TV shows.
He neglected painting the back side of the house.
2) He neglected to paint the back side of the house (do they have the same meaning?)

All are fine, and yes, the second and third sentences mean the same thing. The third one is awkward, but not incorrect.
