Thank you very much for your help.

I just wanted you to check these sentences.

1) He begged to leave.
He appears to be a nice man.
He asked to leave the room.
2) He avoided failing the course.
They consider selling their old furniture.
3) He chose not to attend the course.
They celebrated winning the game.
He dared Mary to talk naked in the park.
(Does it mean: he agreed to let her walk..?)

1) He begged to leave.

This sounds odd. The third sentence here is better.

He appears to be a nice man. OK

He asked to leave the room. OK

2) He avoided failing the course. OK

They consider selling their old furniture. This is OK, but would be better with a past or future tense main verb, not present.

3) He chose not to enroll in the course.

They celebrated winning the game. OK

He dared Mary to walk naked in the park.
(Does it mean: he agreed to let her walk..?) No, not agreed! He must have said, "I'll bet you won't go naked in the park."
