If a class choose these color
RED 2/16
Blue 5/16
Green 3/16
What fraction of the class chooses one of these three colors?
Am I correct if I said 5/16 of the class chooses one of these three colors?

No.

2/16 + 5/16 + 3/16 = 10/16 = 5/8
