1) The information appearing on cosmetics must be present directly on the container of the cosmetic and, if present, on the outer box.
2) When the size of the product doesn't allow it, the information can be written on a label fixed to the product or a sheet of instructions included in the packaging. The label contains information on the duration of cosmetic products before the opening and the period of time in which, after the opening of a pack, their use remains secure.
3) By law we must label this information:
• The content at the time of packaging, the quantity of product present, expressed in weight (grams) or by volume (milliliters).
• The manufacturer's batch number, useful if you were searching for a particular production.• The country of origin for products manufactured in countries outside the European Union.
• The function of the product.
• The directions for use and warnings.
• The name or business name and registered office of the manufacturer or the person responsible for marketing the cosmetic product. In case of complaints, inspections, audits it is possible to trace the person responsible.
