**Reiny**, Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:57pmI will assume she bought 8 gifts, so

let the number of videos be v

let the number of Cd's be 8-v

so 14.95v + 16.88(8-v) = 133.41

14.95v + 135.04 - 16.88v = 133.41

-1.93v = -1.63

v = -1.63/-1.93 which is not a whole number

since v must be a whole number, your problem is flawed.
