Here are a number of sentences I would like you to check.

1) The Sundance film festival was launched by Robert Redford to promote first time film makers as well as low-budget independent (independently produced) films.
2) Redford says that the films coming out of the festivals (films which premiered at the festival) have done well at the box office (hit the jackpot commercially)
3) You should have received the emails of my students who still haven't got a partner. I really hope you can find a partner for them, too.
4) Please send me an updated list of your participating students together with a photo of the whole group. I'm going to upload your photo to the school website under the label "projects".
5) Modern society seems to be characterized by a complete lack of any kind of moral or religious beliefs.

The sentences are all fine. I think that in #3, though, it'd be better to use the plural of "partner" in the second sentence, since you really don't mean one email partner for several other students!

Also, #5 is a sweeping generalization! Are you sure you want to write that??
