probability of getting the following.
No defective resistors
One defective resistors
3 defective resistors

    The probability of both/all events occurring is determined by multiplying the probabilities of the individual events.

    None defective = 9/12 * 8/11 * 7/10 * 6/9 = ?

    One defective = 3/12 * 9/11 * 8/10 * 7/9 = ?

    Three defective = 3/12 * 2/11 * 1/10 * 9/9 = ?
