three coins, a halfdollar, quarter, nickel are tossed at the same time. to say that there is an outcome xyz means that the halfdollar, landed x, the quarter landed y, and the nickel landed z. the eight equally likely possibilites can be listed as follows: HHH HHT HTH HTT
THH THT TTH TTT
a) give a verbal description of p(A/B)
b) p(A/C)
c)are the probabilities evaluated in parts (a) and (b) equal?

Can you please provide a definition of events A and B?
Also, in (a) do you mean p(AB) instead of P(A/B)? That is to say, probability of event A given B has happened?
