The mass of Mars is about 421x10^20 metric tons. The mass of the sun is about 1.998x10^27 metric tons. About how many times the mass of Mars is the sun? Give answer in scientific notation.

1.998*10^27 = 19,980,000*10^20

(19,980,000*10^20)/(412*10^20) =

19,980,000/412 = 48,495.1456 = 4.84951456*10^4

You might want to round it to 4.85*10^4
