You're probably right. But I could make a strong case that hoarded objects are of great value to the person who hoards them.
Ok. I think I am going to go with 'c' because if something is of great value to a person, that person would hide it and more than likely keep it guarded. So, 'c' kind of makes the most sense because it relates back to 'a.'
