kevin had a board that was 5 and 1/4 feet long. while making making a fence, he cut a peice 3 and 3/4 feet long from the board. what was the lenth of the peice of board remained?

5 1/4  3 3/4 = 4 5/4  3 3/4 = 1 2/4 = 1 1/2
