multiply everything in parenthesis by the number next to it
-4p - 20p +30 = 22 -7 + 14p add common terms together
-24p + 30 = 15 + 14p add 24p to both side
30= 15 + 38p - 15 from both side
15= 38p divide 38 from both side
15/38 = p
