Danmy baked a chocolate cake for dessert.The cake was cut into slices.Eight diners ordered cake for dessert at lunch.Half that many came during the afternoon and ordered a slice.Danny and Wanda each had a slice for a snack.If 4 slices were left at the end of the day,how many slices were originally cut from the cake?
18?
If 8 people went during lunch and half that many came in the afternoon then that is 12. Than Wanda and Danny had a slice each so that makes it 14. Than plus the 4 slices left at the end of the day. So is it 18?
