The mean earnings of four plumbers are 40,250, 45,250,63,600, 125,000
The owner of a plumbing business earns 125,000. Do you think the mean of all four plumbers earnings,which is 68,525, accurately represents what an average plumber earns? What do you think the average should be?

No, this average is not representative. Drop the 125,000 and figure the average using the other three numbers.
