I need some help with this problem please!!

your parents are installing a rectangular in-ground pool with the dimensions 24 feet by 10 feet. They decide to place a walkway around the pool 3 feet wide. What is the area of the proposed walkway?

Answers:
a.) 240 square feet b.) 204 square feet
c.) 92 feet d.) 68 feet

outside dimensions are
24+6 by 10+6 or 30 by 16 or 480 ft^2
inner dimensions are 24 by 10 or 240 ft^2
480 - 240 = 240 ft^2 walkway
