I need you help to revise a few sentences on history. Thank you, Writeacher.

1) The Eighteenth Amendment to the Constitution, which was imposed (??) in the twenties , prohibited the manufacture, consumption and import of alcohol.
2)This drastic step (also "measure") was taken to fight the problem of alcohol consumption among the poor.
In 1929 the American Stock Market collapsed. This was known as the Wall Street Crash.
3) Minorities were segregated into city slums and immigration was restricted.

In 1, it'd be better to use "enacted" rather than "imposed."
2 and 3 are fine.
