For what value in the domain is the function undefined? Explain your answer.

**Damon**, Friday, April 20, 2012 at 6:41pmI assume you actually mean

1/(4-x)

this denominator is zero when x = 4 so the function is undefined when x = 4

The way you wrote it means

(1/4) - x which is defined for all real x
