Homework Help: English

For my paper I have to write an old story made new and we had to pick one from before the 1900s, so i picked The tortoise and the hare. I was thinking about using rosa parks as a character, she was inspirational and was a real winner because she stood up for her beliefs. I was just wondering if you have any other ideas for characters, or possible plots? Thank you for any help you give, I'm just a little stuck with my ideas. thanks.

I don't see the connection. If you want to write about Rosa Parks, you should find a different fable.
