Homework Help: Math (Algebra)

I am having a bit of trouble with the question stated below. I am home-schooled and learning math on your own has proven to be quite the difficult task. If someone could please explain how to do this as thoroughly as possible, I would greatly appreciate it. I honestly have no idea if they are asking me for two functions, or one. u_u

You have a coupon for $50 dollars off your camera's purchase of $100 dollars or more.

Write a function relating a camera's purchase price after coupon (y), to the retail price (x). Give the domain of this function.

Math (Algebra) - Henry, Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 6:41pm
Y = X - 50.

X = Cost of camera before coupon.
Domain = All real values of X.
