Ms.Sue, I know you want me to do this by myself and you would do the explaining.

Ms.Sue here is one of the example problems from my study links.I don't get how they find the percentage. My teacher said we have to use the caculator for this.

Month: # of marriage: %of total
January 147,000 marriages:
6%



How do they get 6%

  • math -

    147 000 / 2 317 000 = 0.0634441088

    Move the decimal point two places to the right. 0.063 = 6%

    do x 100
