Homework Help: MATH

I have to make 4 square dog pens fit into a 169 square meter yard.

the yard is square

whole numbers

If you square the yard it isn't whole numbers. 84.5

One of the pens is 24 square meters

Please help me begin.

13*13 = 169, so each side is 13m.

24 sq m = 6*4 or 8*3, but it is not a square.

Does that give you a start?
