How do you calculate the percentage of women that have weights between 140 lb and 220 lb with a mean of 145 lb and a standard deviation of 31 lb?

Z = (score-mean)/SD

Find table in the back of your statistics text labeled something like "areas under normal distribution" to find the proportions from the Z scores.
