let x = log8 4
8^x = 4
(2^3)^x = 2^2
2^(3x) = 2^2
3x=2
x = 2/3
do the 2nd the same way, let me know what you got
log(27) / log(1/3)
log(3^3) / log(3^-1)
3 log(3)/-1 log(3)
-3
