36 / 3 = 12

12 - 2 = 10

33 / 3 = 11

11 - 2 = 9

30 / 3 = 10

10 - 2 = 8

27 / 3 = 9

9 - 2 = 7

24 / 3 = 8

8 - 2 = 6

Your function :

y = ( x / 3 ) - 2

When x decrease for 3 y decrease for 1
