Given the formula A = ðr2, find the area (A), of a circle whose radius is 34,500,000,000 m.
how do you solve?

  • math - ,

    just plug in the numbers:

    A = πr^2
    = π*(3.45*10^10)^2
    = 3.1416*11.9025*10^20
    = 37.39*10^20
    = 3.739*10^21

    we're not solving anything, just evaluating an expression
