How do you calculate the pH for this problem?

  • chemistry - ,

Both HCl and HI are strong acids; therefore add them.
    mols HCl = M x L = ?
    mols HI = M x L = ?
    mols (H^+) = ? + ?
    Then M = moles/total volume in liters.
