1)Speaker 4 has had lots of interviews lately. He was becoming a bit blasé by the time he had his last interview. What he hadn't planned on was that he had to park his car in a metered space.
2) As he didn’t have any change, it took him quite a while to find a cafè where he could get the right coins. So he ended up flying through the door of the building about five late.
3) It was really hard for him to regain his self-composure. He is not going to cut it that close again!
(cut it close = show up right on time)
