So I'm working with polynomials:
Find the value of x in the geometric shape.
Area=144ð
The radius is: (x+4)cm
PLEASE HELP.D:

  • Algebra - ,

    144 = (3.14)(x+4)^2
    144/3.14 = (x+4)^2
    45.86 = x^2 + 16
    45.86 - 16 = x^2
    29.86 = x^2
    square root both sides and you get
    x = 5.46
