The 2000 Paralympics (Parallel Olympics) were held in Sydney, Australia. Ticket sales for all events totaled over 1.11 106. Of the total ticket sales, 8.84 105 were sold as day passes, and 2.24 105 were sold as reserve seating for the opening and closing ceremonies.

What was the percentage of total ticket sales that represented the sales for day passes? Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a percent.
