Homework Help: math

Rules:Determine wether the two expressions are equivalent.If so,tell what property is applied.If not, explain why.

1)18 x 1 and 18
2)7 + 0 and 7
3)0 + 12 and 0
can someone please explain to me why these expressions are not equivalent. I know that these are examples of Identity property though.
