What do I do when, after I have completed the testing and want to go on in my field and am stuck without knowledge because I hadn't learned the subject before. I have all of the materials and tools and have gone over it before but I can't seem to find the topic in my books.

We are studying together and are wondering about some of the same things.

When you find yourself in a situation where you have completed testing but lack knowledge on a particular subject necessary to move forward in your field, there are a few steps you can take:

1. Assess your current understanding: Take some time to evaluate what you already know about the subject. Review any relevant notes, resources, or materials you have collected so far. This will help you identify any gaps in your understanding and give you a starting point for further exploration.

2. Identify the specific topic or concept you are struggling with: Pinpoint the particular area or topic within the subject that you are having trouble finding information on. This clarity will assist you in directing your search efforts more effectively.

3. Utilize different learning resources: Besides your books, explore other learning materials and resources available to you. This might include online educational platforms, tutorials, video lectures, or industry-specific websites. Check for resources such as e-books, online journals, or research papers that might cover the topic you are looking for.

4. Seek guidance from experts or mentors: Reach out to professionals or mentors in your field who have expertise in the subject matter. They can offer guidance, recommend specific resources, or provide insight into how to approach learning the topic effectively.

5. Join relevant communities or forums: Participate in online communities or forums related to your field. Engaging with like-minded individuals who have knowledge in the subject can help you uncover valuable resources, receive recommendations, or even find study groups.

6. Break down the topic into smaller, manageable parts: If the subject matter seems overwhelming, try breaking it down into smaller, digestible pieces. Focus on understanding one concept at a time before moving on to more complex aspects. This systematic approach will make the overall learning process less daunting.

7. Be persistent and consistent: Learning new subjects takes time and effort. Stay consistent in your efforts and dedicate regular, focused study sessions to the topic. The more you immerse yourself in it, the better your understanding will become over time.

Remember, learning is a continuous process, and it's natural to encounter challenges along the way. By implementing these steps and maintaining a growth mindset, you can navigate through the obstacles and develop a deeper understanding of the subject you are struggling with.
