Homework Help: 8th grade math

y=1/4x-1
1/2y=x-2
2x+3y=3
3y=5-2x
4x-y=3
4x=y=1
I don't understand this can someone please help me!
This is Systems of Equations
please work out the problem and explain it how to do it.

1.y=1/4x-1

2.2x+3y=3
3y=5-2x
3.4x-y=3
4x-y=1
