Ethyne, C2H2, combusts explosively to produce carbon dioxide and water. How many moles of ethyne area required to yield 4.98 moles of water?

  • chemistry -

    2C2H2 + 5O2 ==> 4CO2 + 2H2O
    Looks to me as if 2 moles H2O requires 2 moles ethyne.
