Homework Help: social studies

Did Hoover's actions help put an end to the Depression. From what I'm reading most people say he didn't help but some things say he did do some good so unsure what to put. It is an agree or disagree question.

Generally speaking, FDR not Hoover is given credit for moving this country out of the Depression.
