Manny loves to eat Cajun pizza. Each square inch of pizza is 8 calories. He orders a slice of pizza from a pizza with a diameter of 16 inches that is cut with a central angle of 20 degrees. How many calories does he eat?
Answer
A. about 89 calories
B. about 11 calories
C. about 201 calories
D. about 1,609 calories

The area of the pizza slice is

A = (1/18)*(1/4)*pi*d^2 in^2
because 20 degrees is 1/18 of a full circle.

Multiply that area by the Calories per square inch andsee what you get. One number on your list will be very close.
