I rarely work a problem; I try to show you HOW to do it. All you need to do is to substitute the numbers in the problem into the formula I gave you, punch in the numbers on your calculator and out comes the answer. Post your work if you get stuck.

I have highlighted what you read in the problem and how you substitute into the formula I gave you to solve the problem.

The formula I gave you is

p1v1 = p2v2

v1 = 300 mL

p1 = 0.500 kPa.

p2 = 0.750 kPa.

v2 = ?

So 0.500*300 = 0.750*v2

v2 is the unknown and that is the only unknown in the formula. Solve for v2. The answer will have units of mL. Let me know if this doesn't help but tell me what you don't understand.
