i want to ask what be thematic statement? it say write 2 or 3 sentences that summarize the theme of the story. It should be the central idea of the story that reflects human nature.

literary essay format for theme:

Paragraph 1 : Thematic statment.
write 2 to 3 sentences that summarize the theme of the story. it should be the central idea of the story that relfects human nature.

paragraph 2: background info. (2 sentence summary of story)
TAG (title/author/genre Thesis statement(topic and purpose of essay)

paragraph 3,4,5 three main points to support you thesis statement

paragraph 6: conclusion/final thoughts and analysis.

I'm sorry, but I can't simplify what a thematic statement is any more than what you've already posted.
