2) The aim of "Learning from each other and getting closer to each other" by
studying in one single field (local waterways) is to enable the students to improve or increase not only their skills in science, but their professional and personal skills, and their self-confidence and motivation to act in a European context. Each school contributes through its specific strengths, which makes every single school benefit from its partners' strengths. The schools are supposed to permanently grow closer to each other by networking and leading other projects.

Monitoring and evaluation will take place during the whole project period.
In order to identify opportunities and threats, monitoring will be based on SWOT analysis. During the first meeting from 1 to 5 October 2012, one task for both teachers and pupils will be to put together the framework of evaluation. This will be achieved by modifying and adapting mice-t or probenet instruments to the necessities of the project.
5) External evaluation: …….Gymnasium will be evaluated as scheduled by the
school administration of Baden-Württemberg in 2013 or 2014. The school will submit the project to the commission for external evaluation.
Internal evaluation: There will be a questionnaire to determine the status
quo before the beginning of the project.
6) The following items will be
assessed: the attitude<~~whose attitude? towards the European Union and the disposition to mobility, as well as the knowledge<~~whose knowledge? of English and ICT.
7) Furthermore, the questionnaire is supposed to give insight into the expectations and resulting level of satisfaction of pupils and teachers. The various stages of the evaluation are supposed to make the evaluations comparable and transparent. After every working period, the experiences and development in the aforementioned areas will be again evaluated, analyzed, and allocated to the results of monitoring in order to prevent or solve problems.
8) Finally, the participants will be able to discuss matters of interest or concern in a forum on e-twinning. The documentation of monitoring and the evaluation will be available online.
