Writeacher, I have finally reached an agreement with my German partner. However, I'll have to check the English version of the application form by tomorrow (which is full of mistakes and contradictions! Plus: I'm ill and on sick leave). I really hope you can help me check it!!!!

This is the first part, concerning the "summary of the planned partnership".

1) By executing the whole cycle of project management in English the pupils will have a fairly better qualification to present in their portfolio.
2) Within the framework of the topic "Learning from each other - comparing local waterways" schools from three European countries have agreed on a longterm cooperation on various levels.
3) Luckily, we could interest MEP Michael Theurer to be the patron of this project and agree eventually to hand out the pupils`certificats. The involved schools are all situated near natural parks, such as the Marais poitevin, the Naturpark Schwäbischer Wald and the Tanaro Park.
4) The project aims at comparing water in the waterways in these natural parks and, by doing this, wants to interest and sensibilise pupils for the importance of its proctection and preservation as a natural ressource. 5) It should also lead them to an understanding of the influence caused by human interaction and make them discover possible ways of protecting the environment.
6) The pupils will carry out microbiological, physical and chemical analyses of the water, identify possible impacts and compare them.
7) They will form multinational teams, chose themselves areas they want to specialise in, make hypotheses and work together in the preparation, analyse and evaluation of the field studies conducted in the participating countries.
8) At the end of the project they will compile materials for visitors, hold conferences and prepare presentations on the results of their studies which they will make in these natural parks. 9) The teachers' role is limited to coaching and advising. During the periods in the home countries, pupils will work on an e-twinning plattform and hold videoconferences via Skype.
10) In order to make sure that the effects on the pupils are in agreement with the project targets, several categories of the project will be evaluated during the various meetings.
