Point I am trying to make is that I think is is unwise to be using symbols on campus such as confederate flags because it shows very little consideration for other students.
points 2 is ignoring the use of symbolic symbols on campus can cause less controversity.

Isn't the point of free speech to create controversy?
Bok thinks that the use of the Confederate flags use be ignored, but instead some of the students fight back by using swastika because they think that confederate flags is a symbol of slavery which are making other students feel uncomfortable. So I am really having a hard time coming up for a thesis for this argument that Bok is trying to prove. He states, "that by ignoring the confederate flags there will be less controversity.
Ignoring offensive symbols protects freedom of speech and avoids controversy.
