Solve each problem using a grid.

Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.

Dover is located at (1,2) and Goodlow is located at (5,7). How far apart are the 2 cities?

My answer is 6.40... am I doing this right? If not please explain. Thanks.

= 16+25

= 41

distance = √41 = appr 6.40
