**Julia**, Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 7:02pmL = 2w

W = w

A=Lxw

200= (2w) (w)

200 = 2w^2

200 = 2w^2

200 divided by 2 = w^2

100 = w^2

square root of 100 = w

w= 10

Therefore the length is 20 and the width is 10.
