Homework Help: math

Posted by lindsey on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 6:14pm.

If I am converting 0.00603 into scientific notation, which would be correct?

6.03 x 10^-3
OR
60.3 x 10^-4

I am a little confused about what to do when there is a zero between two numbers.
