What effect will the current governmental initiatives that focus on expanding health care coverage to more Americans have on health care costs and health care services in the United States? What would you add or subtract from the recently approved healthcare bill?

I believe that health care costs will go down and more people will have access to health care. I'd add universal coverage and a single-payer system.
