Name two organic compounds that cannot be extracted effectively from an aqueous solution by means of an immiscible organic solvent such as diethyl ether or cyclohexane
Would ethanol be one of them? Perhaps acetic acid as another. My feeling is both of these would be next to impossible since they are so soluble in water.
