Sometime when you don't know the answer you can think of an example you know and figure it from that.
Think about water.
As a solid it is ice, when heat is added it melts to become liquid water, and when more heat is added it vaporizes to become steam. So the logical progression is solid to liquid to gas. But this problem is the reverse of that since it starts with gas so the answer is ......
