What is the mathematical relationship between frequency and wavelength for an EM wave?

- physics -
**Steve**, Friday, January 13, 2012 at 10:36amfrequency is 1/s

wavelength = m

speed of light c is m/s

so, wavelength = m/s * s = c*frequency

as with any wave,

wavelength = speed * frequency
